Eggstravaganza 2007 Chicago, IL Photos

Evangel World Outreach Center in Chicago hosted the first annual Easter Eggstravaganza April 7th. The leaders and volunteers of EWOC, local businesses and Willow Creek Community Church solicited prizes, stuffed over 50,000 plastic eggs with candy, gift cards and prize tickets to ensure the success of this event.

Despite the 21 degree weather and flurries approximately 5,000 people showed up to hunt eggs and enjoy the midway festivities. The Easter Bunny, Kermit the Frog, Winnie the Pooh, and Piglet walked the grounds and stopped for photo ops with the families in attendance.

The hunt consisted of five age appropriate fields staked out for 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, and the physically challenged. After the hunt bikes, tvs, game systems, gift cards, toys, dvd players, movies, and more were awarded to particiapnts who found grand prize tickets in their eggs.

The event kicked off an amazing weekend which was concluded by three Easter Celebrations on Sunday, all filled to capacity with more than 50 salvations!

God is good!
