I am a little behind on my "day to day" posts BUT.... I wanted to say that I was SO thrilled that Melissa Lawson won Nashville Star this past Monday night! I was pulling for this Texas native, mom of five boys!!! And I loved how her husband cheered for her and took care of the boys without even a bit of fuss! That is a man who knows what partnership in marriage is all about!
Congratulations Melissa! I can't wait to buy your first CD!

Ha! And our youth pastor said there was no way she'd win...he was thinking the cute blonde would get it (like the world needs two Carrie Underwoods!).
I didn't really keep up with the show - I just listened to him talk about it every week, lol!!
