Only 21 hours until our church hosts Chicago’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt! 50,000, yep, you read right, 50,000 plastic eggs filled with candy, gift coupons for free kid meals, and tickets for big prizes like bikes, tvs, play stations, games, movies, gift cards, & more!
This a is HUGE outreach event for us that requires SOOOO much work- so I will probably be away for most of today and probably tomorrow. (The photo above is of my daughter Lexi at the 2006 hunt in Oxford, AL)
If you are reading this before 11 am CST on Saturday, April 7th- say a prayer for us that the weather will cooperate (we’re supposed to get rain & flurries L) and that we will have an awesome turn out at the hunt and at our 3 Easter services on Sunday! We’re believing for 100 souls and 50-100 new families to attend! I’ll be back Sunday or Monday with pictures and a report!
