Favor, Favor, Favor!

I wanted to check in today before I check out for bed! I've been running around trying to prep for vacation... and I still have a lot to do BUT I have a very detailed, organized plan! I have to tie up lose ends and I am good to go!

A couple of neat blessings occurred today...

First, I received coupons entitling me to free lunch today at the mall food court which is two blocks from my office, so I took a brisk walk to the mall during lunch and I grabbed a yummy lunch. While there I noticed a MAJOR sale at The Children's Place. I resisted the urge to run in because I have put us on a budget for our vacation and I plan to stick to it!

When I got back to work, I saw an email that would have gotten me another free lunch but I opted out because I had already eaten. So, the supervisor came by my desk and dropped an envelope on my desk. I opened it and found a gift card to the mall! I was so tickled and thanked him. (All that extra hard work does pay off!) Then I was forwarded a coupon to, you guessed it... The Children's Place! It was for 20% off my purchase! Again, I was so tickled by all this favor!!! But hold on... there's more!

So, we go to The Children's Place and I indulge in the sale! I picked up three pairs of shoes for the girls. I go to the register and the gal rings me up, I hand her my coupon and all of the sudden, my total dropped all the way down to $11.44! For THREE pairs of shoes! She had doubled my coupon on top of the sales prices!!!

I looked at Craig and just grinned, so then we ran down to Target and grabbed some things that the girls needed for vacation...

I love it! What awesome favor God gave me today!
